Networking Expert Janet Culpitt said there was a vital need to reinvent the way businesses and communities connected locally.
“Globally, the business world has called time for change. We have seen major transformations and re-structures of businesses like Facebook, AirBNB, UBER and Netflix this year,” Janet said.
“In the same way - networking, and our approach to it in the business and community arena, has to drastically change.
“The traditional format of swapping business cards, scoffing down a free breakfast and sitting through lengthy presentations in order to ‘network’ - frankly isn’t working.
“I want to challenge business leaders and entrepreneurs across South East Queensland this Friday to reinvent the way we connect and work together in 2018.
“This event is all about enacting change in our communities. I am excited to facilitate connections and conversations in a new way.
“We will be sharing thoughts, ideas and challenges in leadership and business success - and focusing on helping each other stay sustainable in such a fast-paced world.
“If we want to see greater heights in our businesses, greater collaborations for the good of our community and greater success for South East Queensland - events like this are the change we need.”
The Avant Garde networking and connection launch is open to thought leaders, extraordinary entrepreneurs and exceptional business leaders in the South East Queensland community.
